Maureen Osis, RN, MN, MFT
Maureen is a Registered Nurse and a Marriage & Family Therapist. Her clients include mid-life and older adults who are experiencing personal challenges related to aging, or to family relationships.
Maureen's presentations offer solutions on issues that boomers and seniors can use now or in the future to reduce conflict and crisis.
Maureen is the co-author of "Your Aging Parents: How to Prepare, How to Cope."
The family is the most enduring unit of all cultures but has also experienced the greatest changes in modern society. As a professional, as well as a mother, a daughter and a sister, Maureen has developed a deep understanding of how families work and care for each other.
As a Registered Nurse specializing in Gerontology and a Marriage and Family Therapist, she is uniquely qualified to offer a valuable perspective on the intergenerational challenges and joys in aging families.
Maureen is registered with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of ALberta and is a member of the Alberta and Canadian Gerontological Nursing Associations. |
